Less Than 30 Minutes BBQ Cups

In need of a quick and easy weeknight meal? BBQ cups use 5 ingredients and are the perfect way to use leftover ground beef. Pair with baked sweet potato fries and fresh fruit for a complete meal and have dinner on the table in less than 30 minutes.

Ingredient:

FOR THE BBQ CUPS:

  • ½ pound lean ground beef
  • ¼ cup diced onion
  • 1/3 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 (7.5 ounces) can refrigerated biscuits (10 biscuits per can)
  • ½ cup shredded cheese

Instructions:

FOR THE BBQ CUPS

  1. Heat oven to 400°F.
  2. Brown ground beef with diced onion. Drain excess grease. Add barbecue sauce to browned ground beef and stir to combine.
  3. While ground beef is browning, spray regular-size muffin cups. Place one biscuit in each muffin cup. Firmly press in bottom and up sides of the muffin tin.
  4. Place biscuit cups into the oven. After 5 minutes, remove biscuit cups from the oven. Use a spoon to push the center of biscuit down to create a crevice. Spoon ground beef mixture into biscuit cups. Sprinkle shredded cheese over top of biscuit cup.
  5. Put BBQ cups into the oven for an additional 5-7 minutes until biscuits are golden brown and cheese is melted.
