Ingredients

kosher salt

10 oz. ziti

2 tbsp. butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 tbsp. all-purpose flour

2 c. milk

6 oz. cream cheese, softened

1/4 c. Frank’s Red Hot (or other hot sauce)

1 tbsp. Ranch seasoning

2 c. shredded rotisserie chicken

1/4 c. freshly chopped chives, plus more for garnish

1 c. shredded white Cheddar

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°. In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook pasta until al dente. Drain and return to pot.
  2. Make sauce: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, then add flour and whisk to combine. Cook 1 minute. Add milk and whisk until combined and no clumps remain. Simmer until thickened, 2 minutes. Add cream cheese and break up with a wooden spoon until melted and combined. Add Frank’s and ranch seasoning and stir until combined.

  4. Garnish with chives and serve.
