Slow Cooker Steak Soup with Noodles




Yields: 8 Generous Servings

Cook Time: 8 hrs




Ingredients

3 pounds sirloin tip roast cut into 1-inch cubes

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon pepper

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 small onion, minced

4 cups beef broth

1 tablespoon ketchup

1 16 ounce package uncooked broad noodles

Directions

  1. Combine flour, salt and pepper in a zip-top freezer bag.
  2. Add beef cubes and shake to coat.
  3. Sautee beef in hot oil in Dutch oven over medium-high heat.
  4. Cook until browned then place in bottom of slow cooker.
  5. Mix beef broth, ketchup and onions in a bowl.
  6. Pour above mixture over beef.
  7. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours until beef is tender.
  8. Add noodles to slow cooker and cook an additional 20 to 30 minutes until noodles are tender.
