Peach Dumplings


2 fresh peaches or 16 frozen slices
2 cans (8 count) refrigerated crescent rolls
1 cup butter
1-1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
cinnamon to taste
1 can (12 Oz.) 7up or Sprite


  1. Preheat oven to 350.  Peel and cut each peach into 8 slices.  Roll each fresh or frozen peach slice in a crescent roll.  Place in a buttered 9 x 13 pan.
  2. Melt butter, then add sugar and barely stir.  (It will still be lumpy.)   Add vanilla, stir, and pour entire mixture over apples.  Pour soda around the edges of the pan. Sprinkle across the top with cinnamon and bake for 40 minutes.
  3. Serve with ice
