Easy Homemade Black Pepper Gravy

Yield: 3 cups




Ingredients

5 Tbsp flour

1/4 cup unsalted butter

2 1/2 cups whole milk

3/4 tsp salt

1 1/2 Tbsp ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in medium size sauce pan over medium heat.
  2. Whisk in flour until mixture is creamy, smooth and free of clumps.
  3. Slowly pour in milk and continue whisking.
  4. Add salt and pepper and whisk until well blended.
  5. Serve and enjoy!
